Range has done it again! For the third consecutive year, Range has been listed among America’s Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek.
The selection methodology is derived from each company’s efforts on ESG and key performance indicators from their corporate sustainability reports (CSR). After evaluating the data, Newsweek posted the list containing the top 600 companies in the US who are considered most responsible.

Newsweek’s announcement praised social efforts of the energy and utility industry stating, “the sector has taken a lead in social scores in the past three years.”
Overall, Range achieved a 70.37, which is up from a score of 65.80 last year. Range remains distinguished in its efforts as only one other Appalachian producer was named to the list.
“We have a responsibility to our communities, employees, and partners to do the right thing,” said Range CEO and President, Dennis Degner. “Part of that equation is prioritizing the transparency of our business and giving back to the areas where we live and work, all while making sure our employees feel supported. Being included again in this year’s ranking is a reflection of the culture we have built and live every day.”
Range published its updated 2022-2023 Corporate Sustainability Report earlier this year. This report provides insight into Range’s approach, achievements, and goals on environmental, social, and governance topics.
