About

Range Resources is proud to offer our annual Student Mentoring And Range Training (SMART) Start program for 11th and 12th grade students. This year’s opportunities are available in both Pennsylvania and Texas!

To enrich their experience, students will be invited to attend internal events that focus on preparing them for their future career and post-secondary education as well as building their professional network. These events are supported by our Multi-Ethnic Employee Resource Group (MERG) and Range Energy Network of Women (RENEW) to help provide connections and guidance from all perspectives.

High school interns will also be paired with a mentor to serve as an additional resource and connection for students to lean on during their internship and as they enter their post-secondary endeavors.  The mentoring they receive from their mentor as well as their direct supervisor is a critical component of the SMART Start program.  These relationships ensure that students have valuable learning experiences and ample opportunities to ask questions.

This paid internship will give students the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and gain insight into career paths at Range and the natural gas industry.

Interns typically work 10-20 hours per week and will be paired with mentors in their area of interest. Selected finalists will be required to participate in an interview with a Human Resources team member and/or hiring manager.
